Google Webmaster ToolsGoogle announced a new outstanding feature for Google Webmaster Tools named Security Issues.

This new dashboard helps quickly know what security issues your site has, how to find the source of the issue and then how to repair your Google results after you fix the issue.

Mariya Moeva from the Google team said in a Google Webmaster Help thread explained the tool is aiming to "help webmasters whose site has been hacked pinpoint the issues and recover easily."

Here is the overview screen showing various forms of malware and hacked spam issues a site may have:

Is Google losing any market share in the UK, Im seeing a huge rise in Yahoo/BING/DDG visits across dozens of my clients sites in the past 2 weeks! Im also hearing more and more day to day friends and family moaning about Google results, something is up

When I say huge I mean compared to what they used to be, probably a 5-6% increase from non G SE's. That might not sound a lot but its across a lot of sites that I have never seen this many hits from non G before

Because that would be admitting they had created the growing negative SEO industry and were promoting "spam for cash" (unless you made the links yourself - in which case I'm guessing you' know about them anyway).

Don't be too excited. You still have to find the way it was injected and this is the real hassle.

It's hardly solid market research but my daughter (24) and her friends are moaning about Google search results too. I also managed to publish two articles in UK magazines this week where I was able to advise people to switch from Google if they want less commercially skewered results. They will eventually fall.
