Google Voice Search for Maps

So now you no longer have to type your location's name, just say it.

I ran about twenty tests and it worked pretty well. It had some issues with Hebrew named locations, but overall, it worked very well. I even said Yerushalayim, Israel and it figured it out as Jerusalem, Israel. Yerushalayim is the Hebrew name for Jerusalem.

Does it work well for you?

I'll have to give it a try later... It was lots of fun when I finally had the ability to yell at my phone and have it return actual directions in a reasonable amount of time. Now that I think about it, if phone's keep getting smarter will they resent us for the years of barking orders at them? Hmmm... Oh look, is that Skynet I see? :P
