Google Maps ReviewsDr. Pete Meyers from Moz spotted another Google user interface test, this one with the knowledge graph box where Google is showing local results with example reviews directly in the box.

Pete said, "looks like Google is testing richer review data in knowledge graph." Here are screen shots.

Normal (what I see):

google knowledge local

Google Test:

google-knowledge-local reviews

Nothing like seeing faces of people in the search results.

Forum discussion at Twitter.

Also noticing in Maps listing view the inclusion of reviews from contacts in your G+ circles.

Good find, Barry + Dr. Pete. I covered the review snippets in the knowledge graph on February 10: http://www.localvisibilitysystem.com/2014/02/10/google-testing-review-sentiment-snippets-in-the-local-knowledge-graph/ That was a real short-lived test then, and it still looks like a "blink and it's gone" test. Not seeing any snippets for the Huntley Hotel now.
