Full Reviews In Google Knowledge Graph

Mike Blumenthal said on Google+:

They have been around for several months but now seem much more frequent. Along with every Google change (whether permanent or not) comes new questions. Like why does one restaurant with 9 reviews get the treatment while another restaurant down the road with the same number of reviews does not?

So more of the local results will also show reviews in them.

This should surprise no person. Google is clearly trying to retain visitors on their property, to be a part of any transaction that occurs, instead of directing users to a website where the information may be found. Just as there is a separation of Church and State, there needs to be a separation of Search and Content to protect the interests of the many authors, businesses and the others that contribute to the world wide web.

Fair point, but they do own Zagat so any way you slice it someone is likely going to cry foul.

The owner of Kinchley's Tavern probably loves the Knowledge Graph.

Been seeing this in the real estate vertical this week too. Building G+ reviews is starting to pay off for brokers and agents.
