Reuters reports that Yahoo is doing an overhaul of its homepage, but that not all users can see it yet (like me. I never get the good stuff early). According to the Reuters article, this change is intended to "give users a personalized view of the wider Web."
Here's their screenshot:

I'm not entirely sure who is seeing the new redesign, as Yahoo says less than 15% of users have been exposed to it. Thus far, there's been no forum discussion on the impact of the redesign.

I do NOT like the new design. I had them as my homepage, now I have to find something else less aggravating.

I HATE the new home page and want the old one back. It is NOT user friendly to me.

The Yahoo page is a MESS. The "every link populates a window" is the worst idea due to the speed in which it loads, which slows down the page load and my IE. As a result I now use Igoogle for my homepage and information source for unbias diverse news coverage.
