I loved when Google introduced YouTube Insights for my YouTube videos. Stats make me feel all fuzzy and warm. So now that Google reinvented it with YouTube Analytics, I feel all warm and fuzzy again.

Here are the key features followed by detailed screen shots from my YouTube account, where I post our Search Recap Videos every friday.

  • A Quick Overview: A new overview provides all of the information that you care about quickly, while also enabling you to easily access more detailed information.
  • More Detailed Reports: Analytics now includes more detailed statistics so that you can have a more precise understanding of your content and audiences.
  • Audience Builders: Discover which videos are driving the most views and subscriptions.
  • Audience Retention: See how far viewers are watching through your video in the new audience retention report.

YouTube Earnings (I'm a poor struggling actor):

I didn't include all the reports, because the impression reports are not as snazzy but yet they are cool.

You can break the reports down to each individual video and filter by date ranges.

Tell me you are not warm and fuzzy now...
