Yahoo DirectoryOver the course of almost nine years, I've covered the Yahoo Directory here and there. Over the years we've asked you guys if it is worth buying for $299 and the answer has been shifting over the years to no.

In 2006, people said the directory link from Yahoo was worth the money, then in 2008 it was less worth the money and then more and more signs came out that it probably wasn't worth the money.

So we ran a poll a few months ago asking if you would still buy an Yahoo Directory listing.

26% said you would, but a whopping 52% said you would not. The rest of you were not sure if you would or would not buy the Yahoo Directory link.

Yahoo Directory Poll

Honestly, I am surprised the 52% number isn't higher.

Please read my poll disclosure policy before jumping to any scientific conclusions.
