Earlier this month we shared a preview of the SEO: The Movie by John Lincoln from IgniteVisibility - well, it came out for free, fully, and is available for viewing.

It featured Danny Sullivan, Rand Fishkin, Jill Whalen, Brett Tabke, Rae Hoffman and Barry Schwartz (me) but of course, it wasn't able to include all the personalities in our industry. I know John wanted to get folks who were not just from the earlier days of SEOs but also folks who were not the founders of the industry. The video is very heavily edited, I know because I spent an hour or so recording and he only used a bit of what I said.
It is a good video, of course it isn't perfect, but what movie is? I do appreciate John doing this on his own dime without any serious monetization method for it. I am sure it was not cheap to produce.

The video does reference Yahoo's Las Vegas party, here is one of the photos I surfaced from there where Rand Fishkin, Andrew Goodman and myself were on the round bed that goes in circles from Hugh Hefner's suite. I didn't stay long at that party, as many of you know, I do avoid most parties and if I go, I just say hello and leave.
That is from like 10 years ago, we've all aged.
