In episode #9 of the vlog series at the Search Engine Roundtable I interviewed Casie Gillette (@Casieg), the Senior Director, Digital Marketing at KoMarketing. Casie is well-known in the industry for her smile, her kindness, always giving back to her colleagues and the industry - she is just a very special and we are so lucky to have her in our industry. That being said, we had a fun short chat while at Mozcon.
In our talk, we talked about how she was with KoMarketing, then left the company and then came back a few years later - that is also something super rare in general - to leave a company and come back. We then talked about the pros and cons of working in-house versus at at agency. Then we skipped over the search community, giving back and the US Search Awards. Finally, we talked about her Mozcon talk on the topic of memorable content.
