This week in search I cover that technically, even without disavowing links, you can be released from the Google Penguin grips, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Google is asking webmasters for feedback and ideas to improve web search and webmaster tools. Google revamped their structured data testing tool and documentation around it. Google enabled social profile links in their knowledge graph for brands, with markup support. Google Knowledge Graph upgraded their events markup also. Google News will now index your images hosted off your domain name. Google’s mobile ranking usability notices are confusing. Google Webmaster Tools promised to improve the messaging. Google can’t win when they give advice and tips to webmasters. Google AdSense ads led to some web sites being hijacked, Google supposedly fixed the issue. Did you ever hear of AdSense hedging? Google Translate app has some awesome improvements. Google Analytics moved around the acquisition section. Finally, Google Glass is done, at least as we know it.
