Favorite thing about the SEM community? SEO is such an interesting space, isn't it? It's like, we all do a lot of research and analysis, test certain hypothesis, implement certain changes on the website, see the results and derive a conclusion. There could be certain instances where the hypothesis that worked for you on a website might not work on the other.

Also in this process, no two SEO experts would think alike. So most of our experiences or learnings are unique. Hence we need to share those learnings with our SEO mates. This is where the SEO community stands above the rest.

There are so many experts in the community who are always eager to help. They share their experiences that can come in handy to others. There is so much of knowledge sharing around that is really helpful. I am thankful to the whole SEO community for being so transparent and supportive.

One piece of advice to the SEMs out there? SEO is not just technical. It's more about logic. The SEO landscape is ever changing. It's evolving. More the number of websites you handle, more you would learn. Each and every website will post a new challenge and that would make you learn something new.

Today we are talking about mobile first indexing, tomorrow it would be voice searches and something else after that. Nothing is constant. We have already entered the era of AI-powered SEO. I would advise the SEOs out there to be always on their toes. Keep learning.

Share your knowledge with others, including your clients. Feel free to ask questions to the experts around you. Try to be active on platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn where one can read a lot of updates.

Favorite things in general? My favourite colour is black. I love Indian food. I am fond of cricket. Nowadays I don't play cricket but I love watching it on TV. I like Indian music, especially melodious songs from Hindi movies.

What you want to be known for in the SEM space? First of all, I feel privileged to have provided SEO consultancy to some of the biggest brands in India. But this is just the start as I would love to serve many more such brands. I also got an opportunity to train quite a few people in SEO. I feel glad to see them successful in their careers now.

Consultancy or training, both the aspects need a lot of learning. And as I said, SEO is all about keeping pace with the ever changing search landscape. So I would like to be known as a good SEO learner first and then an SEO expert. We all are still learning, aren't we?
