  • Bing Inorganic Site Structure Spam Penalties
    Bing announced last night a new set of search penalties for inorganic site structure.iInorganic site structure includes PBNs and link networks, doorways and duplicate content, subdomain or subfolder leasing and spammy web hosts and hacked sites.
  • November 2019 Google Webmaster Report
    Last month was a pretty busy month with Google announcing the launch of BERT, one of the most significant updates the company made to search ever - the company said. We have a lot on BERT below, including the possibility that the New York Times was hurt by it. Google released the speed report for Search Console and integrated Site Kit into WordPress.
  • Google To Go Big With Health Search For Medical Queries?
    Over the past couple of days, Google has been making some noise around health - not just the Fitbit news but around building out a search tool that helps doctors around medical research. The interesting thing is this may expand into a more user focused initiative, just like you would use to book flights using Google Flight search.
  • New Microsoft Edge InPrivate Mode Sets Bing Searches Private
    Microsoft announced the new Microsoft Edge, with a new logo and new features. One of those featured is InPrivate Mode that will not only set your browsing as private but also your searches in Bing.
  • Google Extends JavaScript SEO Docs For Web Components
    Martin Splitt from Google said that his co-worker, Lizzi Harvey, has updated the JavaScript SEO basics guide and the JavaScript troubleshooting guide for web components. The JS guide now shows the best practices for web components and troubleshooter has more information about web components.
  • Takeaways: Google Webmaster Conference Product Summit
    Google held its first Google Webmaster Conference Product Summit at Mountain View, California - the GooglePlex. It was a full day event, unlike most of the previous Google Webmaster Conferences and it was filled with awesomeness. I posted some of my favorite photos and I will be posted at least three videos of it on my YouTube channel but here are my takeaways from the event - things I thought stood out to me.
