Hit By Panda? Google Says Post In Forum Thread With 7,000 Other Posts

Google Panda threadWere you hit by the Google Panda update? What should you do?

Google back on March 2nd started a support thread at the Google Webmaster Help forums named "Think you're affected by the recent algorithm change? Post here."

Since then, there have been 6,780 posts. Yea, that is a lot of posts and that doesn't count all the other threads, probably in the tens of thousands, on the Panda update.

But Google is still suggesting you post your site's details in that original thread, with the other 6,780 posts. Will it get drowned out by the other posts? I am not sure, but Google said you should still post there.

A Google + post by Googler Kaspar Szymanski said "Here's the uber long thread on #Google webmaster help forum; if you think your legitimate, original content site has been affected by our #Panda update please feel free to let us know and tune in."

The thing is, can Google really look at all those posts? It is humanly possible?

So will posting there really make a difference?

Update: I apologize, Google does indeed read every single post in that long thread. John Mueller from Google replied to me in my Google + post saying he subscribed to this thread via email, as do others and they do read each and every post. In fact, they prefer to manage the Panda complaints and feedback in one thread versus many other threads. So I am sorry to Google and all those on the team.
