Joe Hall

This is part of the say something nice about an SEO/SEM series - feel free to nominate someone over here.

Joe Hall from Columbia, South Carolina has been dedicating himself to helping his colleagues in the SEO/SEM industry from the day he joined the community. He is extremely active on social media, very generous with writing technical articles and has spoken at many of the industry events.

Joe is loved in our industry, not just because of his contributions and his really impressive technical know-how but also because of his kind and caring personality. He is a super positive man, always able to bring a smile to everyone he talks to.

Plus, he is able to think outside the box, test different theories, try new ideas and when he discovers something, he is eager to share it with others. I commend Joe Hall for his level of sharing and his passion for truth in this industry.

Donna Cavalier nominated Joe and wrote:

Joe Hall has a brilliant analytical mind, amazing programming chops, and a kick-ass personality. He's the kind of guy I just like listening to. He has great perspective on life.

Joe Hall Bio: Joe Hall has been building and promoting things on the Internet for the last 20 years. He is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold two companies in the digital marketing space. Joe now runs, Hall Analysis; a boutique consulting firm for mid and enterprise level brands seeking technical search marketing analytics and audits."

Favorite thing about the SEO community? The generous nature of most folks to share and trade knowledge and experiences for both new participants, and old pros. Because at the end of the day, learning from others that have done or seen something you haven't is worth its weight in gold.

One piece of advice to the SEOs out there? You get better by doing. If you are just starting out, then start a site, and do everything you can to get it ranking in a competitive niche. You'll make a lot of mistakes along the way, but each time you will learn something new, and you'll be a better SEO because of it.

Favorite things in general? I like hot dogs, boiled peanuts, BBQ, black coffee, and Diet Coke.

You can learn more about Joe at his company site and you should 100% follow him on Twitter at @joehall.
