Google Shopping LogoGood news for e-commerce site owners, Google is expanding Google Product Search & Shopping into four more countries.

Google is expanding Google Shopping (named Google Product Search in the US - no idea why they call it different things in different places) to Australia, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. In addition, Australia is also getting the Google Merchant Center.

Ronald from Google said in a Google Merchant Help thread:

We're delighted to announce that Google Shopping is now available in Australia, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. We're also launching the Google Merchant Center in Australia today.

Gabs has a screen shot documenting all the countries now available for Google Product Search, they include:

  • Australia
  • China
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Netherlands
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom
  • United States
