Mariya Moeva from Google posted this week on Google+ that Google is looking for feedback on how to improve the overall messaging and notification system within the Google Search Console, formerly known at Google Webmaster Tools.

She asked on Google+ "How do you use Search Console messages? We want to hear from you." Google's Search Console sends out many types of notifications, across crawl errors alerts, new owner confirmations, malware warnings, manual action notices, hack alerts, and much more. Google wants to know if they send out too many, of the ones they send out, are they useful, do you want them, etc.

The survey is over here and it asks you first information about who you are and then asks asking:

  • How many sites you manage?
  • How many messages you get per week?
  • If you read them, where you read those messages?
  • Which ones you act on versus which ones you ignore?
  • Why you might skip acting on them?

Again, you can take the survey over here.
