Google Search Analytics Report Maxes Out At 999 Keywords

So now that new Search Analytics report is what you get when you go to the Google Search Console, the Search Queries report is gone or very hard to get to.

But did you know that while the old Search Queries report gave you thousands of queries over a 90-day period, the Search Analytics report only goes up to 999 keywords?

Here are screen shots of both, showing the limits I see in my account:

John Mueller was asked about this on Google+, in which he responded that the Search Console API lets you download up to 5,000 keywords.

So that is a solution for the tech savvy.
