Google: POST Requests Use More Crawl Budget Than GET Requests

Google Post Requests Budget

Martin Splitt from Google said one thing you need to be aware of when it comes to Google handling POST requests it that since Google doesn't cache them, they can use more of your crawl budget than GET requests.

Martin Splitt said this on Twitter, "Unlike GET requests, POST requests aren't cached, so they do impact crawl budget & hostload more than GET requests."

This comes after we heard that Google is doing POST requests maybe more often than they did in 2011. :)
