It has been some time since we mentioned anything related to Google Panda and John Mueller answered two questions on the topic in the last Google Hangout on Google+ from this past Friday morning.

Question One: It took 10 months for Google to launch the last Panda update (Sep 2014-July 2015). Can we say the slow rollout might take 10+ months?

Answer One: I wouldn't necessarily say that because it was like this in the past it will be like that in the future. So that's not something where I'd say there relationship in there.

This was asked and answered at the 2:50 mark into the video:

Question Two: Please say something about Panda, did it ever roll out new score since panda 4.2?

Answer Two: I don't know what what is referred to by Panda 4.2, so it's hard to say. But this is something that has been rolling out gradually and that that is updating over time as well. So that's not something where you would see any kind of a distinct jumps or are changes in in the way your website showing in the rankings. That's something that's kind of gradually flowing out over the search results. So less of something where you would see individual bounces or changes that you could kind of flag as Panda 4.3, 4.31 or whatever they would they would be counted as.

This was asked and answered at the 33:39 mark into the video:

I am not sure we learned anything new here but it just reinforces that Google likely will never confirm another Panda update again.
