The Google Maps team announced a new version of the Android Google Maps app, they are now up to version 5.5.
The new features include:
- New check-in and rating buttons added to Place pages
- Update home and work address for your Latitude Location History
- View the redesigned transit station pages

Hi Google Maps Enthusiasts!I’m pleased to announce there's a new version of Google Maps in Android Market, version 5.5!
