Google Knowledge Graph With Seductive Images For Gift Ideas

It is one thing to search explicitly for seductive images or specific type of photos or even gift ideas but to be shown them for search queries that can go either way in the knowledge graph seems like a mistake.

Josh Devlin posted on Twitter that a search for [2nd wedding anniversary gift] showed a knowledge graph answer from esty.com of see-through lingerie.

Here is a censored photo I captured yesterday afternoon:

Now, there is nothing wrong with Google displaying images of see-through lingerie but it really should only show up for explicit searches for that. People searching for this query might be looking to buy jewelry or flowers, not necessarily this.

Do you agree?

Google's first case of nudity in the knowledge graph was two years ago and it had its troubles since.

Forum discussion at Twitter.
