Google Spam Reporting

Yesterday afternoon, the Google Webmaster channel posted on Google+ a request for webmasters to give feedback on the Google spam report process. They said "we'd like to learn more about that to improve our process and make your reporting easier and fun."

The Google form can be filled out at this location and it asks the following questions:

  • How often do you report webspam?
  • What motivates you to report websites that violate Google webmaster guidelines?
  • When you report sites which segment or niche do you mostly report?
  • How can we further enable you to spot and report spammy websites showing up on search results?
  • Have you ever wanted to tell the webspam team something directly?

Over the years we've polled and covered the topic of reporting spam. Back in the day, a fellow SEO would not "tell" on an other but we live in a different world now, so I want to re-poll you guys.

Any event, let Google know how to make it better and more "fun."
