Yesterday we reported that Google is testing a new mobile friendly testing tool and migrating /webmasters to /search-console. Well, Google's John Mueller confirmed one of those items last night on Google+.

John Mueller from Google said "Search Console is currently experimenting with a revamped version of the Mobile Friendly Test, which will eventually become a part of Search Console going forward."

Dan Shure shared the screen shot on Twitter of the new mobile testing tool:

Looks nice!

Google's first mobile testing tool launched on November 2014 and has seen small improvements over the years.

John added, "some Search Console users will see this new version as we gradually roll it out during this test period and learn more about its usage. The new tool will be linked from the mobile usability report in Search Console." He shared a link to this help document for more details and then asked you provide feedback on Google+.

The new mobile testing tool is accessible to some at https://search.google.com/search-console/mobile-friendly while others, like myself, get a coming soon page.
