Google AdWords Review Ad Extensions Going Live

Google AdWords ReviewsIn June, Google released a beta of a new form of AdWords extensions for showing third-party reviews. That beta is now being rolled out to all advertisers over the next few days.

Google announced this on their Google+ page saying:

Over the next several days, we're making review extensions available right in AdWords, allowing you to easily add those hard-earned accolades about your product or service to your ads.

Here is an example of a live ad with review extensions:

As you can see, the review part says “The service onboard was excellent” – Airways Magazine and it links to the review.

Here is how you create these review extensions in your AdWords account:

  • Click the Ad extensions tab, and select Review Extensions from the *View: dropdown button.
  • Click + Extension and select the campaign for which you want to create the extension.
  • Indicate if this is a paraphrased review or an exact quote, add the text, source, and source URL.
  • Click Save.
