Google Glass Field TripField Trip, the neat location aware software that gives you ideas of places to visit while traveling, now is officially on Glass.

Google's Timothy Jordan announced it on Google+ saying, "we’ve just added the Field Trip Glassware to MyGlass."

Discover the world's fascinating stories and local treasures with Field Trip on Google Glass. Stay "heads up" as you explore and let Field Trip be your ultimate guide to local history, insider finds, design, architecture and more. Field Trip channels the best of hundreds of hyper-local experts and trendsetting publications to help reveal the hidden gems around you.

I've had it active since Friday and I do not believe I've received any heads up about exploring places in my area. Maybe if I travel more, I'll see it more. Of course, I can adjust the settings to show me more places, if I need to.

Here is a video of how it works:

The potential for search without searching is awesome.

More importantly for developers, Timothy drops a note about how developers can share apps better for Glass. He wrote:

We’re working on a process for you to submit your Glassware to get quota and be listed so that everyone can do more with Glass. I'll share more details when it's ready (which should be soon).
