Old Inside Street Views On Google Maps Are Not Easy To Remove

Maps Old 1200

I recently found two threads in the Google Maps Help forums asking about how one can delete their inside street views for their business.

Inside street views are often paid for by the business owner to enhance their listings by enabling customers to virtually "walk in" to their stores and offices to experience the place before actually going. But what happens when the place is remodeled or acquired?

Can you easily delete the old inside view images? It doesn't seem so.

I guess you can always take new inside street view images and have them posted by a trusted photographer? But removing old ones, not an easy thing to do.

Some suggest that you can login to your Google My Business account and report a problem there. Someone may get back to you about manually removing the images. But outside of that, it isn't as easy and removing the photos in your Google My Business account.

I recently added inside street view photos of my office but I haven't had a need to remove them yet.
