Bing Ads IE8It seems that advertisers within the Bing Ads network are no longer able to use Internet Explorer 8 to manage their ads in the Bing Ad console.

A WebmasterWorld has some advertisers noticing the new requirement. Bing Ads write:

Bing Ads no longer supports Internet Explorer 8. Check to see if you can update your browser version.

Of course, there are businesses that still use IE8 and this guy is one of them. This guy is not happy. He wrote:

Lot's of large businesses, from what I have read, have bought the extended support licenses for XP (obviously for very good reason), but I guess Bing ads doesn't care about any of this business. So unless they get smart and stop alienating business that doesn't want to buy their other products, it's time to drop them altogether.

I do not blame Bing for dropping IE8 support, but I can see how it can be frustrating if your company forces you to use it.
