Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.

Search Engine Roundtable Stories:

  • Bing Webmaster Center To Add Link Reports, Link Explorer & More
At SMX East yesterday, Bing had a sponsored panel named Bing Webmaster Tools and the Search Alliance which I live blogged. In that demo, they showed off some new features coming to the Bing Webmaster Center toolset. In July they revamped their webmaster tools but dropped a key element, linkage reporting. It is too late to sign up for this program now, but those who have signed up already will "receive four weeks of tips and advice on some of the most important aspects of AdWords."
  • Google Instant Won't Work Yet In IE9 Due To Trident 5
Some Internet Explorer 9 beta users are complaining in a Google Web Search Help thread that Google Instant doesn't work using that browser. Google confirmed the issue in the thread, they said they are in the final phases of testing Google Instant on IE9. Jonathan E. from Google said: We're is in the final stages of testing Instant on IE9 and hope to be able to enable it in the coming week or so. We'll
