Google Downgrades .Info TLDs Again?

Jun 5, 2008 - 10:17 am 5 by

Just over a week ago, we had reports that Google dropped most .info TLDs from the search results.

Today, we are getting more early reports of the same thing happening, after it recovered quickly last time. We have reports from DigitalPoint Forums and new posts at the old WebmasterWorld thread.

Here are some quotes:

Looks like Google is doing more experimenting - my .info is once again gone from the SERPS.

I have lost again 90% of my traffic.... like 23 may.

The discussion on this new findings is brand new. It may be a Google glitch with .info TLDs are it may be totally unrelated.

Forum discussion at DigitalPoint Forums and WebmasterWorld.
