Last week, YouTube announced a new design experiment for the channel and YouTube video watch pages. The new look is code named Cosmic Panda.

Again, YouTube seems to be deciding what appears on a user's home page and where it appears, if it appears. This was evident in the beta and worsens here. Where are subscribers? subscriptions? friends? channel comments? It's missing way too much and there appears to be a total lack of customization.

I actually think this is a great idea. They definitely have a few kinks to work out though. I agree with Allen in that there seems to be a lack of organization.
