Yesterday, I participated in a Google Webmaster Hangout on Webmaster Central Office Hours. It is basically where a Googler answers your webmaster and SEO related questions.
I joined one yesterday that Google's John Mueller was nice enough to record and make available on YouTube for everyone else to see. It was live on his Google+ page and is also available on YouTube.
Here is the video from yesterday, my favorite part is about 10 minutes and 10 second in where I asked him what is the purpose of sending out notifications to ignore links when those links have no impact on your site? I love his expression when I asked that.
He also posted a video on July 20th:
I am incredibly grateful that Google puts these together.

Nice going, Barry. Hey, on another topic, did you hear that Google is requiring that people use real names to post at YouTube? There is a story at CNN about this; it is connected to a Google + account and if the poster refuses to use their real name, they have to explain why.
