Google Panda Kick Online Forums?

Panda Kicking ForumsSince the release of Panda there have been some discussion forums and heavy user generated content sites saying they were severely impacted by this update.

Personally, I doubt this update was designed to look at forums in particular, but there is no doubt many forums did get hurt by the update.

I wanted to know if your forum or if you know of forums that were hit? Please take my poll:

Now that you took it, let me tell you my thoughts.

There are forums that are heavily moderated for quality content. I believe those forums, the ones that kill out all those people who repost articles just to earn a higher post count in the forums, are the ones that tend to do fine in this update. Forums can be severely abused by their members, and at the same time, it is the members that make the forums thrive. So moderation is key.

More is not better anymore in the world of Panda. Less can now easily be considered a lot better, if the quality is good.

A WebmasterWorld thread has some forum owners complaining about a huge drop in traffic since Panda whereas others say their traffic is up.
