Google Shopping CampaignsGoogle announced a new form of Google Product Listing ads management named Google Shopping Campaigns.

In short, it is a new campaign type for Product Listing ads that helps you organize your campaigns as you would the product in your store. Google says this new method will help you "manage and bid on your products, report on your performance, and find opportunities to grow your traffic."

Here is a quick video that explains the gist of it:

Google said this is rolling out gradually in the US, with full global availability by early next year. API support will come in 2014 as well. If you want a chance to get it earlier, use this form.

Current PLA account has been a good thing for us, looking forward to see what benefits this new platform might hold.

I've found that I've had to really split up and target my PLA, often based on what else is showing up for competitors but the real benefit is lower click cost, higher conversion rate which has led to lower CPA. Seems odd that picture ads would be cheaper...especially for 5 spots.
