Google Now Integrated With Knowledge Graph

Google NowPart of the big Google announcement from the other week was a better and smarter knowledge graph.

I noticed this a few days ago, that when you search for anyone or anything that returns a knowledge graph box on the right side, you will now see an additional option to "Get updates about X" and a button that says "Keep Me Updated".

Here is a picture when I do my hourly vanity searches on Google for [barry schwartz technologist]:

I am hoping I get to see what happens on Google Glass or Google Now when this comes up in the web search results as a new story.

Same with a search for [matt cutts]:

I already have alerts set up for Matt Cutts, so maybe they will be similar? Have you seen the Google Now cards for these types of subscriptions?

When you search for musicians, you will get a slightly different option to keep track of releases.

They're live in the UK too. I noticed these celeb alerts a wee while back. http://blog.arhg.net/2013/09/google-rolls-out-google-now-alerts-via.html

I would be surprised if you did, but I saw it posted and then, almost immediately, it disappeared. Probably somewhere in spam folder, but it doesn't make me feel better )
