Google+ To Move Support Forums To, Um, Google+

google+ discussionsI always felt it was weird that the Google+ support discussion forums was in a Google Groups area and not in Google+ communities.

I know communities was not a feature within Google+ on day one but it has been around for a pretty long time now. Again, just seemed awkward to have support discussions about Google+, which is all about discussions and sharing, outside of Google+.

Well, Google has finally decided to close down the Google Groups and move it to Google+.

Google's "Sky B" said:

Important announcement: the Google+ help community is moving! For the last 2 years, this forum has been our home and a place for users to ask questions about Google+ and receive answers from fellow users, Top Contributors, and even Googlers. Going forward, you can ask for help and learn new tips at the Google+ Help community here, in Google+. You’ll have 30 days to shift gears - then, on September 17th, we’ll freeze the forum, so you can still read helpful posts, but will be asked to post any new questions in the Google+ community.

I wonder when all discussions for support will migrate over to Google+.

It seems Google is making Google+ the main platform for interaction for everyone who use Google products .

Fucking awesomely mindboggling stupid idea if you ask me because what happens if you can't access Google+ or have a question before getting a profile? How to exclude any one with an actual problem or question in one easy step. Perhaps it was part of their plot to never actually resolve actual problems. Google I love some of your products but shit you are making it fucking hard to carry on loving using you!!

Google. I want to ask about this: You do not need to have a personal Google+ profile in order to sign up for a Google+ page. However, if you do not already have a Google account, you will be asked to create one. Because you entirely fail to tell me HOW to do that in your everlastingly mindbogglingly unhelpful misnamed 'help' AND your stupid f-ing program asks me to create a f-ing personal profile which I f-ing well do not want because guess what morons some people don't want their personal name on the blog/business for a REASON!!! An entire segment of the market you entirely fail to recognise. And I don't f-ing well want to sign up for a f-ing profile in order to ask you a f-ing question! GET IT!!!
