Google Bug LogoThere are some recent Google bug reports floating around the Google help forums related to Google search and Google Maps.

Foggy Search Results:

Some users are reporting "foggy" or light blue but hard to read Google search results. The thread at the Google Web Search Help forums has people with both Internet Explorer and Firefox reporting this issue. One searcher said:

What is this "fog" or "film" over Google search results? When I enter a keyword or keyphrase to search on Google quite often soon after I hit "search" suddenly my screen gets fogged and frozen for a second or two as if someone is "filming" or "copying" my screenshot or whatever. Any ideas what that is and how to get rid of that?

Clearing your cache and history and restarting may help fix the issue.

Typing Aligned Right:

Hebrew and Arabic searchers are accustomed to typing right to left but not most of the world. So when people see the text they type into the Google search box being right aligned, it does look a bit awkward.

A Google Web Search Help thread says it is likely do to the IE9 beta. One user said to just update the beta and you will be fine.

Google Maps Saved Places Mix Up:

Google confirmed a bug with Google Maps in the Google Maps Help forum where if you save places the title and the description you give to the saved place get mixed up. Googler Vanessa said:

Thanks to your reports on this forum, we have become aware of an issue that's causing titles and descriptions of saved places to get mixed up when they are customized. This seems to be happening on multiple browsers. The problem currently seems to be limited only to places added to a map with the "Save to maps" link from search. The team is investigating a fix, and we will post here when it's resolved.

Images Not Displaying in Google Places:

A Google Place Help thread has reports of the images not showing up under Google Places and Maps.

Brianna from Google said they are looking into this issue. The report reads:

All of my images have been replaced with a grey image of a camera, which looks to symbolize that no photo is uploaded. All photos were showing as of last week and then disappeared, to be replaced by the camera image. I have attempted to delete all pictures and re-upload them, but it has not changed anything.
