There is this game named the Six Degrees Of Bacon to see how many degrees of separation you are from Kevin Bacon and the number returned is the Bacon Number.
Now, Google has decided to plant an easter egg in their search results, i.e. knowledge graph for this.
So if you Google [bacon number meat loaf] you get this:

If you Google [bacon number charlie chaplin] you get this:

It is a pretty geeky way to handle the Six Degrees Of Bacon.
Google's Othar Hansson, who is probably directly related to this easter egg, said on Google+, "it's fairly clear that the distance metric is not a measure of acting talent."

LinkedIn says that Kevin Bacon is a 3rd level contact. That means he's not one of the 1664 people directly connected with me nor is he one of their direct contacts. But he is connected with someone that one of them is connected with on that network. - Allen MacCannell

This is a great example of the power of the knowledge graph in a fairly pointless application. It will be interesting to see ow the "bacon number" KG compares with the other sites which use a different data source (I.e. IMDB)
