Today is Father's day in the US and to celebrate, the search engines have special logos and designs. We have logos from Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask.com, Baidu and others. But this year, Google's logo overlaps with the World Cup. So Google made a Father's Day Doodle that has a father and son heading to the World Cup.

Do Yahoo logos really suck or is it just me? No father needs to to be reminded to mow the lawn on fathers day. Look at the Yahoo animation/logo from 2011: http://www.seroundtable.com/fathers-day-2011-13580.html Now that's more like it. Ever since that Marissa took over it seems like it's less fun and more work.
