Danny Sullivan was privileged to give the Google Self Driving Cars a test drive himself and captured the experience on video.
Danny was taken for a test drive by Google's Sebastian Thrun, the software engineer who heads the Google car project.
Danny was given the car demo while at TED in Long Beach, California.
The first video is watching the car speed around the race track, while the second is a video of Danny Sullivan in the car, holding his camera for us all to experience a speedy drive from within the car.
As you can see, Google decided to put the pedal to the metal on this demo.

Heh, it kinda makes you wonder how a race between self-driving cars would be like. It may not be as fun as when a human driver is handling the car, if you think about it. Nevertheless, a self-driving car like that is awesome, and it does seem to be handling the driving quite well...
