Click Bombing YouTube Publishers To Get Them Banned

A YouTube Help thread reports of YouTube aggressively banning YouTube accounts of publishers due to abuse.

A month ago, we reported on a bug where YouTube was terminating accounts by accident but this still appears to be happening and not by mistake.

It seems like some of those who are part of the YouTube partner program are having their YouTube accounts banned at an even rapid pace.

A YouTube Help dating back to November, but still with a full head of steam, has reports from publishers that they are being banned due to being click bombed or not to any fault of their own.

With this, like always, it is hard to pin point if this is a Google bug, a competitor trying to hurt someone or just someone who is trying to take advantage and complains after they get caught. But there is a large number of YouTube partners who are not happy now.

Wow. This is horrible and damn scary. I am not a partner but I plan to be in the future. What are they doing to fix this?

The problem is with YouTube. you have no protection and you cannot do anything to protect yourself. that thread mentioned in this article reveals a truth and a flaw withing the YouTube and Adsense problem

I think that this thrwad reveals a real problem. Even if many use it as an excuse. You can only blame YouTube for it's poor support to it's AdSense partnership program. If you have a YouTube version of Stat Counter then it would be easier on the serious publisher to fight this menace and be able to prove it in an appeal.

The Truth is that YouTube & Partnership have no Authority in these Matters. Partnership has been supportitve when they can. It is Strictly Adsense that has "Terminated" the accounts. No Warning, No discussion, no Recourse. Unfortunatly I have become the Poster child for this. Any New Partners who have become disabled cometo or are sent to me to try to help. It all comes down to Protecting Advertisers' Money at ALL costs even if it Punishes the Innocent. THEN adsense ignores.

If YouTube have no authority then why are they inviting everyone to become partners? Even a very dumb person can see that something wrong is happening.

This so wrong. This thread is scary. I like that fact that Youtube invites but dod not have control over the situation. Also Youtube partners are in a huge disadvantage when it comes to an appeal.
