Google Update or Bug: More Complaints Over Google's Search Results

I am not sure what to call it but it seems there are more and more complaints on the Google search results this week. Earlier this week, we reported on a May Day round two update and explained how May Day can be patient in it's attack of your site.

That being said, there are two WebmasterWorld threads and a bunch of threads with complaints at Google Webmaster Help with complaints on:

  • Ranking changes
  • Content missing
  • URLs not showing properly
  • Snippets and titles not showing correctly
  • And more...

I am not sure exactly what is going on, but these reports do seem credible. If you want, post examples for JohnMu of Google to review at the Google Webmaster Help thread.

Forum discussion at WebmasterWorld and Google Webmaster Help.

I have already asked about this in different forums. One of my site's indexed pages came from 2000+ to 1100.And for other site 180+ to 12000+ pages. There is no rank drop. For some time it showed n/a for my PR3 sites. This is because some minor changes to their algorithm.

Maybe Google's Halloween has started a little bit earlier - and still haven't finished. It's tricking us all! :D

When I complained about plagerism... Article was used from my web site and used on a bloggers site what happend? Google removed me from the line up so that I could not compete with the offending plagerist. Tooooo much power, I hope they fall soon. Discriminatory seach engine.
