SEOmoz Builds Open Site Explorer, Community Likes

SEOmoz announced the launch of a new valuable tool named Open Site Explorer. I will not go over the features, every other blog did that.

The tool is extremely powerful, but it is not completely "open" or "free" as the name implies. Either way - the tool is impressive and for the most part, the SEO industry is very pleased with it. That includes Aaron Wall who called it slick, despite being Rand Fishkin's biggest critic.

Read more about the tool at the SEOmox blog and test it out at opensiteexplorer.org.

I was pretty sad to hear we were losing site explorer, its been one of my most valued tools since i started in search, however the guys at SEOMoz have developed an excellent alternative and theres plenty of other similar tools too, like Link Scape and Link Diagnosis

No one said we lost site explorer yet. They might keep it.

@Barry, really? I read this post on SEO Moz http://www.seomoz.org/blog/8-predictions-for-seo-in-2010 and normally trust Rand to know what he's blogging about

That is his "prediction" it is not official. He says he thinks they will kill it. But this is not done yet.
