Microsoft adCenter Keyword Limits

Like most PPC campaign systems, there is a default cap at how many keywords, ad groups and so on you can have per account. Microsoft adCenter has their limits to:

  • Keywords: 10,000 per adGroup
  • Ads: 20 per adGroup
  • Keyword Account Limit: 100,000

So you can basically max out your keyword list on a per account level to 100,000 keywords. I suspect a phone call to Microsoft, if needed, can help increase that limit, but I am not 100% sure about that.

adCenterRep adds he is "I am happy to assist" those with questions at a WebmasterWorld thread.

you should ry for keywords research! SEO Digger is a decent keyword gathering and research tool but what it really helps me with is determining a given site's overall theme and keyword focus. Apart from a list of search queries, wordtracker and overture results are also determined (keyword popularity calculated by Data is also CSV-exportable.

I've called them to increase an account that was at the limit. They didn't do it. Maybe someone else will have more luck. Imagine

Whenever something bad happens in the world, Adcenter is either directly or indirectly to blame. Wars, famine, plague, their Adcenter platform... on and on, nothing but years of idiocracy exponentially compound to what we now know as the Adcenter platform. Developers are idiots. All changes made to the platform are either copied from what Google is doing... or stupidly created internally and the Adcenter holy meca (some boardroom with 5 indian guys that know NOTHING about the user experience that Advertisers endure).
