'07 Holiday Season Logos & Themes From Search Industry

The holiday season is here, you can tell if you just browse the web and see all the sites sporting fun logos and themes. As you can tell, we have our holiday theme live now.

I celebrate Christmas like over 70% of the rest of the USA... why all the holiday verbiage and not one mention of Christmas? glad to see dogpile still has some marketers with backbones.

 

Seems like MSN (Live) is busy during these holidays!! May be they will come up with something during New Year!

 

Not to (re)open a can of worms, but I don't see anything wrong with doing a happy holidays message to cover everyone. It's interesting though, that Google did a separate logo (different than the one above) for Christmas day - I didn't screenshot it, but when you rolled your mouse over for the alt it said happy holidays. One would think that if they were doing a separate logo for the 25th, it would have said merry Christmas. I personally like the dogpile / seroundtable way of doing it with a different, holiday-specific logo for each of the major holidays.
