Google AdWords Advertisers Receives Refunds Via Banned AdSense Publishers

A DigitalPoint Forums AdWords advertiser asked if any Google AdWords customer have ever received a refund specifically from a Google AdSense publisher being banned.

The member writes;

We have all seen the threads of people that say they were banned form Adsense. The email usually includes something like your earnings have been refunded to the advertisers. Has anyone ever gotten a refund?

One other member replied that he "always receive the refunds." But I am not sure if Google specifies that the refunds come a banned AdSense account or just "invalid clicks." Actually, I would be surprised if the advertiser new this information.

There are lots of different opinions that everyone has and certainly there cannot be any uniform pattern followed by Google, Never!

Recently we have received refund for ~100 USD. It was strange as we usually receive refunds up to 5 USD per month (even we are spending thousands USD per month and regular invalid click rate reported by Google is ~14%). Anyways it wasn't stated that any 'mega-giga' spammer frauder was taken down :). It was stated as usually - for invalid clicks.
