Google just opened its Israeli offices and for its first employee they hired Meir Brand as Israel country manager. According to Globes Online, "Brand has extensive business and marketing experience." SearchMarketing.co.il reports that Brand "worked for AOL , ICQ, Excite, and recently, since 2002 – at Microsoft."
