Google's John Mueller posted a picture of a white 3D printed GoogleBot, this one stock in a bunch of leaves and woods. John posted it with the message, "has Googlebot gotten stuck crawling your site?"
John said in the comments after playing around with the 3D printers in the Google office, he bought himself one for his house.
I guess it is worth it, if you can print your own GoogleBots. :)
