Google's Paul Haahr Has Haahrlets

Paul Haahr is a top ranking engineer at Google, I believe he is mostly responsible for the ten blue links in the search results - but I may be wrong. In any event, we've covered him a lot here despite him being pretty quiet and a low-key person.

On March 4, 2017 he posted on Twitter that he is celebrating his 15th year at Google. Look at all those Os in the Google logo for him on this day...

Paul Haahr 15 Years At Google

He joined Google in 2002, a couple years before the Google IPO. He joined two years after Matt Cutts and Amit Signhal. But he is still pretty up there in terms of the algorithm at Google.

I hope he sticks around at Google for some time but it seems like all the old timers are leaving these days.

The photo above is from an SMX conference where he was surrounded by SEOs after his talk.

Forum discussion at Twitter.
