Yesterday, Google announced Google Trips, a new iOS and Android app that lets you plan your trip before or during your travels. It honestly looks to me like the perfect travel companion.
Take a look at this promotional video Google made:
The app has categories of information, including day plans, reservations, things to do, food & drink, and more and you can even download all of this information locally to your device just in case you don't get Wifi or data services where you travel:
Oh, it doesn't seem to work for Google Apps users, which is not surprising.
