Poll: Google's Softer Panda Update Helped 18% Fully Recover

Sep 26, 2013 - 8:32 am 6 by

Google PandaA few months ago, I ran a poll asking how many recovered after Google ran the softer Panda update in mid-July.

With over 500 responses in, I wanted to share the results.

Question: Did You Recover In Google's Panda July 2013 Update?

  • 51% said No, they did not recover at all.
  • 20% said, Partial, they partially recovered.
  • 18% said, Yes, they fully recovered.
  • 12% said, Unsure, they are unsure if they recovered or not.

Google Panda Recovery Poll

I'll repeat what I said then, it was indeed one of those updates that has shown a huge cheer from SEOs and webmasters where they noticed their Panda sites that were impacted were not no longer impacted. At least, I've never seen so many happy SEOs and Webmasters after a Panda release. In fact, we even covered some recovery charts. Of course, that doesn't mean there are many still impacted or new sites impacted by this release.

Disclaimer: Please see my poll disclaimer post before coming to any conclusions on these results.
